We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. If you love fashion, enjoy connecting with people, notice the little details, and take pride in creating beautiful spaces, we'd love to meet you.

This position is primarily customer-facing and focuses on delivering exceptional service while helping maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that The Round Rack is known for. However, we're committed to training and developing our team members. As our business grows, there may be opportunities to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

Availability

We're currently hiring for part-time positions, and looking for long term team members

Applicants should be available to:

  • Work approximately 15-20 hours per week.

  • Work at least two weekend days (Saturday or Sunday) each month.

  • Be available for occasional evening shifts, special events, and quarterly sales.

  • Work during designated blackout dates, including major store events and sales.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

  • Move merchandise, clothing racks, and display fixtures.

  • Reach overhead and climb stairs as needed.

  • Ability to distinguish colors

  • Perform light cleaning and organizational tasks throughout the day.

  • Use a computer, iPad or iPhone and point-of-sale system.

Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Welcome every customer warmly.

  • Provide thoughtful, attentive customer service.

  • Assist customers with styling and product recommendations.

  • Answer phones and respond professionally to customer inquiries.

  • Process purchases accurately through our point-of-sale system.

  • Help customers locate merchandise throughout the store.

  • Assist with loading larger purchases when needed.

Sales Floor

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.

  • Rehang merchandise and return unwanted items promptly.

  • Restock displays throughout the day.

  • Fold, straighten, size, and organize inventory.

  • Help merchandise new arrivals.

  • Ensure fitting rooms remain neat and welcoming.

Store Operations

  • Assist with opening and closing responsibilities.

  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mirrors, fitting rooms, and bathrooms.

  • Support store events and quarterly sales.

  • Assist wherever needed to help the team succeed.

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
